InSightVue, Inc. is a medical XR company building tools that help stroke teams understand vascular anatomy at a glance. Our first product, HoloStroke-CTA, turns standard CT angiography into interactive 3D holograms that integrate with existing hospital workflows on commercially available mixed-reality headsets, combining mixed-reality visualization with AI features. We're working to bring holographic imaging into real-world stroke care, helping clinicians act faster, reduce unnecessary transfers, and improve outcomes across both urban and underserved hospitals.

InSightVue was born from a frontline need in emergency stroke care: enabling clinicians to rapidly understand and communicate what’s happening inside a patient’s brain. In the high-stakes environment of acute stroke, every minute matters — yet care teams must interpret complex CT angiograms (CTAs) using fragmented 2D images, often under extreme pressure and without a shared spatial context.
Dr. Brett Meyer (a stroke neurologist) and Dr. Nadir Weibel (a computer scientist and human-centered design expert) first connected over 15 years ago when holographic technology was just emerging, sparked by early innovations like Google Glass. They instantly recognized its potential to transform stroke care and embarked on a long-standing collaboration spanning AI, XR, and clinical practice. Their shared vision deepened over the years through multiple NIH and NSF-funded projects exploring immersive medical systems.
That vision became reality when Weichen Liu, an XR engineer and researcher, joined the team — catalyzing the development of HoloStroke-CTA, a holographic mixed-reality system that turns brain vascular data into interactive 3D environments.
HoloStroke-CTA transforms stroke triage from static images to immersive, holographic insight. Unlike traditional PACS viewers or dashboards, our system combines mixed-reality visualization with AI features, allowing care teams to walk around, explore, and annotate patient-specific brain structures together.
This is more than visualization — it’s collaborative cognition. By bringing CTA data to life, HoloStroke-CTA enables clinicians to quickly detect occlusions, assess stroke severity, and make confident transfer decisions — reducing assessment ambiguity and improving triage accuracy.
InSightVue incorporated as a Delaware C-Corp in October 2025. HoloStroke-CTA is now in active use at UC San Diego Health under a quality improvement initiative, with patent protection filed and a path toward broader deployment underway.
InSightVue is built in collaboration with leading clinical, research, and entrepreneurial institutions at UC San Diego.
